I would have given this 5 stars, except for one thing. Most Native tribes, including the Ojibwe associate owls with death. Owls don't cause death, but they are the messengers of death and guide the dead to the Spirit World. I sincerely doubt an Ojibwe would be carving an owl, as Jimmy did in the last story. I also seem to remember a reference to an owl in another story, and it didn't cause a stir with Charlie or Jimmy. Please talk to an elder and learn the culture if you are going to have Ojibwe protagonists. Other than that, the stories were enjoyable.Product details
